There were only four publications dedicated exclusively to covering the TurboGrafx-16 in North America: TurboPlay, TurboEdge, TurboForce and DuoWorld. These titles were never available at the newstand; TurboPlay and DuoWorld were available via subscription only, while TurboEdge and TurboForce were mass-mailed to folks who were on NEC's (and later, TTi's) mailing lists.

Turbo Play Magazine (14 Issues, 2 Subscription Brochures, 1990-1992)
-
The first issue of TurboPlay Magazine debuted in June of 1990. TurboPlay was a spin-off publication of Video Games & Computer Entertainment (VG&CE), a popular multi-platform gaming magazines of the late 1980's / early 1990's. Ultimately, 14 issues of TurboPlay (bi-monthly, 32 pages, June 1990 - August 1992) were published, making it the most successful of the four dedicated TG-16 titles.
NOTE: At least two brochures, included above, were used to promote subscriptions. Each brochure was four pages in length and printed on glossy stock in full-color. The first brochure, distributed in 1989, features the original Japanese artwork for Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru (PCE, HuCARD) and might not have been immediately recognizable to North American readers, who knew the game as Keith Courage in Alpha Zones. The second brochure, in contrast, did not have a unique cover and simply recycled the layout from the June / July 1992 issue of TurboPlay.

NOTE: Interestingly, the ISSN#of DuoWorld #3 changed to 1059-2938 (the two prior issues had ISSN#1058-7799). It is unclear what prompted this change, but according to the official ISSN website:
"If the title of the publication changes in any significant way, a new ISSN must be assigned in order to correspond to this new form of title and avoid any confusion. A serial publication whose title is modified several times in the course of its existence will be assigned each time a new ISSN, thus allowing precise identification of each form of the title : in fact it is then considered that they are different publications even if there is a logical link between them."
Of course, DuoWorld did not undergo a title change…leaving the mystery of the altered ISSN#open to your own sleuthing and detective work.
