The bold, striking PC-FX Launch Poster (2600x1567 .jpg) ▼ highlights the first wave of titles available for the NEC's new console when it was released on December 23, 1994 for ¥49,800 (~$485.00 US).

Three launch titles were available on December 23, 1994 for the PC-FX. Of the three, Team Innocent and Battle Heat had received the most press coverage since they appealed to the broadest audience. Interestingly, Neo Generation II was simultaneously released for both the PC-FX and the PCE (SCD+ACD) on 12.23.1994. A few months later, the second wave of PC-FX titles were released: All Japan Female Pro Wrestle—Queen of Queens and Mahjong Goku Tenjiku (3.24.1995), Deep Blue Fleet (3.31.1995) and Tengai Makyou Karakuri Kakutouden (7.28.1995).
