Given the immense popularity of SNK's fighting games, the aging PCE hardware remained relevant with the help of the Arcade System Card upgrade. By many contemporary accounts, the PCE ACD ports of Fatal Fuy 2, Fatal Fury Special, Art of Fighting and World Heroes 2 were well-executed and among the most faithful to the NEO GEO originals.
