NEO NECTARIS…

Two posters are available: Neo Nectaris Poster 1 (2600x1576 .jpg) ▼ from the current issue of Dengeki, and the slightly bolder design of Neo Nectaris Poster 2 (2600x1593 .jpg) ▼ from last month's issue (August 1994).

TOPPOM: Glossy, embossed logo+font combo from the offical cover art (instruction manual).
BOTTOM: Flat, angular logo+font combo approximates the in-game title screen.

Released in July (7.29.1994), Neo Nectaris (SCD) was one of the games TTi hoped to localize for North American audiences. 1989's Nectaris (known as Military Madness on TG-16) had performed reasonably well—the critics, at least, had praised the strategy game in American magazines during TG-16's early, hopeful first year. But it was now half a decade later and the sequel was essentially the same as the original. Critics may have knocked Neo Nectaris for failing to evolve as the strategy genre spent five years maturing. Regardless, Neo Nectaris is a true gem that adds a bit more depth and polish to an already winning formula.
