When this issue of Dengeki hit the newstands, Fatal Fury Special was still very popular in the arcades (having been released ~8-9 months prior, on 9.16.1993). The Fatal Fury Special Poster (2600x1594 .jpg) ▼ below commemorates the fourth and final SNK fighting game released for the PCE Arcade Card. Fatal Fury Special (ACD) would not be released until the end of the year (12.02.1994), however, to minimize any cannibalization of sales from the SNK ACD fighting games already available for PCE.

TELEKA: Although it never became popular in the United States, collecting terehonkādo (phonecards, remember them?) was somewhat popular in Japan during the 1990's. Part of the appeal, of course, was the constant stream of new, exciting designs featured on the face of each phonecard. The subject matter/themes ranged from generic, stock photography (scenic vistas, animals) to youth culture/pop culture (Hollywood films, music, video games, anime, manga, etc.).
