ROUND TWO: Götzendiener, an isometric action-puzzle game, is a rare breed on the PCE. Its appeal is rooted in exploration, trial-and-error and the satisfaction of completing a solo quest. In other words, it offers an experience completely unlike Panic Bomber's 5-player party game.
ROUND THREE: Sadly, Götzendiener (SCD) broke my heart. The somewhat clunky controls (and sparsely populated world) mar an otherwise decent game. Some nuanced moments in the game are quite polished (and amusing), but the full potential and scope of Götzendiener's universe is never fully realized. As such, it remains a flawed, but precious treat for the adventurous PCE fan.
